24 Hours

Yesterday I went to this HAD Dance Concert 08' :- 24 Hours. Hosted & performed by HIBISCUS ARTISTIC DANCE at the Ikeda Peace Auditorium with Seet, Hiu Mun, and Yi-Pei.

Its a two hours-long dance concert which empowers a young adult to be more grateful of what they have at the moment such as :- life, friends, families and etc. You will never satisfy if you never appreciate.


At first, Hiu Mun worried that she might fall zZzzzzz~~
so she ask me to either slap, pinch or punch her if she snore
and of cos imma willing to help her out.. teehee!! Since imma so GOOD.. hor?
But luckily this is a sitcom cum dance performance
So u will laugh for the entire 2 hours long til u would not have the time or chance to snore
Some of you must be wondering whether imma this pig can catch the message of the dance concert?!
Of cos I “UN” larh, imma the pig also quite artistic one lorh *isk isk*
Imma too focus til I doesn’t take any photo of the performance but I take one shot of the ending *winkz*


After the performance, we went to small genting

Yi-Pei : Where r u guyz ?!
Hmun : Salak Selatan jor loo..
Yi-Pei : eee, not bandar tasik selatan meh ?!
Hmun & Me : Woops!!
*Net quickly take out her hp and read the sms carefully with big rounded eyes altho imma mata sepet*
Me : Er, its written there bandar tasik selatan wor
Hmun & Yi-Pei : Why don't u read it earlier

2nd Day : Net in Malacca

MORNING !!!!!!!!

On the second day, Xin bring us to Dreambox (a karaoke place similar with Greenbox),

Too many places til i dunno which cafe vs shopping centre that we went >.<

Rooted cultural issue

Its half past 8 in the office, skies are dark, PC were running, lights still ON, sound of keyboard tapping

Most of them were still in office. *Yawn*

I’m sitting there wondering why all the 40-50 something male species staying up late just to play Facebook while the 20-30 were busy with..............… hmm! working hard? No way!! But for sure, they are all wasting time as i do ? *rolling eyes*

This is the scene in most companies and other off-site offices in MALAYSIA. It’s something majority of Malaysian simple accept as life, that dedication to work means working late into the night. It’s a sadistic cycle

First they call me to stay back after work although there is nothing for me to do in the office. So for the past few days I sitting there like a stupid bloody fool, looking at tick tock of the clock strikes 6.30p.m – everyday!! Eventually, my working hour is 9-5p.m but basically the working hour is from 8.15a.m till 7 *Faint!!!* -_-lll and even thou SATURDAY and SUNDAY *moi off day* and yet they said I should show some interest to the job or the work by staying late. *Rolling eyes again* Am i too stupid or what, i still don't see any connection with staying late and showing interest?

So “late hours” soon becomes part of the company culture. People see the requirement for long hours at work as a sign of their importance, and they use their office spaces as second homes where they often have more privacy and comfort than at home. They don’t have the Ang Moh habit of escaping the office as quickly as possible. Consequently, they may not see the same urgency to reduce workloads and improve efficiency.

The BOSSES just find that those who stay up late are good workers. *Vomit*

The BOSSES just don’t understand the difference between "sitting" late and "working" late!!

Very soon, the managers start expecting all employees to put in extra working hours. *FCUK u*

BOSS always think that the earlier "hardworking" guy suddenly seems to become an "early leaver" even if u leaves an hour after regular time. After doing the same amount of work, People leaving on time after doing their task for the day are labeled as work-shirkers. Girls who thankfully always leave on time are labeled as "not up to it". All the while, the bachelors pat their own backs and carry on "working" not realizing that they are
SPOILING THE WORK CULTURE
at their own place and never realize that they would have to regret at one point of time.

Please!! Never put in extra time unless really needed. Don’t stay back un-necessarily and spoil your company work culture which will in turn cause inconvenience to you and your colleagues.

My dear BOSSES let me tell you,

There are hundred other things to do in the evening... you should go out, see the world. Being outside of the company vicinity would help these people think more creatively

Or else get a mistress or girl friend. If ONE is not enough, get another 2 or 3. *Agitated*

ARTrage Lab @ Soho KL

The day began at 8.00am when I woke up. After pulling myself out of bed, dressing up, and getting ready to work but happen to realize that I’m LATE again because:- my office is happily situated in the middle of horrible pollution and traffic. As usually, I'll run like a Mad Cow Woman into the hotel to my office; though that this time sure DIE because I’m LATE. Sure “ kena 9 9 “ from them but guess what, there are nobody at all although it’s already half past NINE. Shit! I said to myself, questioning myself did I miss anything ? Came on the wrong day or day off because it was practically empty. What to do? (-_-lll) I quickly hop on my chair and switch on my comp to make sure that I does not overlook any email regarding off days which I’m sure it won't happen to ME. GUARANTEE!!! HOW WOULD I MISS OUT ANY HOLIDAYS OF DAY OFF? while I already marked my every single day off and holidays on my calendar. Teehee

30 minutes later…

And yet, none of them is in yet although it’s already 10 something, So I told myself that if 10.30a.m it is still empty. I’ll just pack my things and go back, I want to snuggle into my comfy blanket and snore like a pig. So while I’m countdown-ing the time to go back, I sat there, staring at the clock, listening to the tick tock of the clock while keys on my hand and I’m ready to ciao. Woohoo! 10.29a.m, 1 more minute to run like speedy gonzale back to pig's net BUT then one of my directors suddenly came in and wish me MORNING!


End of story !


Next chapter : I went to ARTrage Lab @ Soho KL

I reached there at 5p.m; luckily there are still lotsa goodies for me to grab *Woohoo*
